Bureau Veritas Malaysia Sdn Bhd (BVM) started operations since March 1987 has established itself as one of the leading classification societies and  third party verification/certification company in oil/gas industry. Since 2006, BVM has establish itself in Health, Safety markets by providing the services locally.

The main  office is in Kuala Lumpur and there are three branch offices (in Pasir Gudang, Miri and Kemaman) supported by 120 staff which enable Bureau Veritas Malaysia to provide the required services in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Perform Health Risk Assessment (HRA) in accordance to PETRONAS Technical Standard (PTS) 60.1400.01 covering the following hazard categories:

- Physical (Noise, Heat Stress, Radiation, Vibration, etc.)
- Biological (Microbes, insects etc) - Ergonomics (Manual handling awkward postures etc.)
- Psychosocial (Shift works, skill and mismatch etc.)
- Chemical 

BV offer:

Malaysia DOSH registered Chemical Health Risk Assessor, Hygiene Technician, Noise Competent Person and Indoor Air Quality Assessor with experience in conducting industrial hygiene assessment and monitoring activities for the oil and gas and manufacturing sectors. The HRA  methodology is based on qualitative and quantitative assessment with the use of various industrial hygiene measurement equipment such as Sound Level Meter, Heat Stress Monitor, Illumination Survey Meter, Indoor Air Quality meter, particle counter and volatile organic compounds survey meter.
As a quality assurance measure, the report is reviewed by an American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). 

Client needs: Realize a final random inspection on frozen raw shrimp, have a complete microbiological and chemical testing on the product and have a loading supervision of the container

BV offer: Bureau Veritas, with the support of Inspectorate surveyors, has seafood specialists with experience in fishing or aquaculture sector, knowledge of the products quality and regulation (labelling, designation, etc.) and can offer quality control all along the supply chain.

Client needs: On call NDT Inspection covering five (5) platforms on JDA Development Area covering cranes, pressure vessels, heat exchanger, piping and underwater structure

BV offer: Provide a team lead by Bureau Veritas Malaysia with Join Venture with Danamin Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Local NDT Inspection Company) in providing the following work scope:

• Review of current inspection philosophy, management system and specification.
• Work Package preparation covering piping and heat exchanger
• Inspection mobilization
• Reporting and Documentation
